Tampa Juniors survives Florida Eels comeback

Florida Eels tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Tampa Juniors held on for a 3-1 victory.

Tampa Juniors took a 3-0 lead during the third period, only to have Florida Eels storm back on a Tom Doverhjelm goal 7:04 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

 

Tampa Juniors was led by Scott Lemire, who finished with one goal and one assist. Lemire scored 10:14 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Tampa Juniors. Connor Esrickprovided the assist.

Tampa Juniors additionally got points from Paul Lochner, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Tommy Whiteley also scored for Tampa Juniors. More assists for Tampa Juniors came via Jason Wrbelis and Logan Garst, who contributed one a piece.
